Mahakala Buddha Statue

This Buddha statue is made from Tibetan silver and brass and it was handmade in Nepal. In paintings and thangkas, Mahakala is often depicted as black. Mahakala always is shown wearing a crown of five skulls. This Mahakala statue is 6 inches tall and 4 inches wide. Mahakala is one of the wrathful deities and he is often depicted, as here, in a standing position. This Mahakala statue has two arms.
