Our black singing bowls section features nine metal singing bowls painted black. The Tibetan Buddhist mantra Om Mani Padme Hum and Tibetan symbols such as the Buddha eyes symbol are written on top of the black paint in gold or copper. The symbols on each of the bowls include some of the Eight Auspicious Signs, such as the eternity knot and the conch shell. The basic style shown in each picture around the outside of the bowl will be the same as shown in the pictures. But the designs on the inside of the bowl and on the bottom of the bowls are often different, due to the handmade nature of our singing bowls. A stick used to play the singing bowl, known as a striker or puja, is included with every singing bowl on our site.
