This rin gong is 6.5 inches wide and it is 5.25 inches tall. Rin gongs are made in Taiwan, China, and Japan, and they are popular there the same way that Tibetan singing bowls are popular in Tibet, Nepal, and Bhutan. This rin gong set includes a mallet wrapped with brocade, and a large cushion. To play a rin gong, you can either strike the outside of the bowl or run the mallet around the outside, just like a Tibetan singing bowl.
