Hevajra in Yab Yum Thangka

Hevajra is one of the main Buddhas in Vajrayana Buddhism. Hevajra is normally pictured with his consort, named Nairatmya. Hevajra is traditionally represented with eight heads, sixteen arms, and four legs. Here Hevajra is shown here in a yab yum position. This Hevajra Buddha thangka was handmade in Nepal. This thangka is 34 inches long and 20 inches wide. This thangka is made from brocade material.
