Manjushri Buddha Thangka on Brocade

Manjushri is the personification of supreme wisdom. Manjushri is one of the three Venerables of Shakyamuni Buddha. The name Manjushri can be translated into gentle glory. The mother of all Buddhas, Shakyamuni is always depicted with a sword in one hand. Manjushri holds a blue lotus or a book in his left hand. The mantra om ah ra pa za na dhi is Manjushri's mantra. This thangka is 34 inches long, 20 inches wide, and it was made in Nepal and mounted on Brocade.
