Manjushri on Gold Buddha Thangka

There is a mantra associated with each Buddha. The mantra for Manjushri is om ah ra pa za na dhi. Manjushri is the Buddha of wisdom. This thangka is 34 inches long and 20 inches wide with the brocade. Manjushri means 'gentle glory'. He holds a sword of fire in his left hand and a blue lotus in his right hand. Sometimes Manjushri is shown with a book in his right hand instead. The book is symbolic of wisdom. This thangka is mounted on brocade and it was made in Nepal.
